Shelly Hu
Born and grown in Mainland China, Shelly Hu (Her Chinese name is Xiuping Hu) immigrated to Canada in 1995, then move updown to Seattle in year 2000. Shelly spent 20 years in the North East of China before move to Canada.
Shelly Hu earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master's degree in Computer Science. She has worked as a software engineer for over 20 years. She had been severed several local companies like Aventail, Microsoft, Real Network, T-Mobile etc..
Shelly came into the real estate field with a strong work ethic and well developed people and negotiation skills. She believes that knowledge of Real estate and local market is very critical and has been kept learning all the aspects of the construction, real estate investment, negotiation, mortgage, and taxation issues. Shelly not only helps the client buying or selling houses, but also offers free consulting to her client for rental activity, mortgage searching, investment and taxation. The Buyer or Seller, can feel confident that you are working with a knowledgeable person that will give you the best possible information and service.
What We Do
Matching buyers and sellers is what we do. First I have a consultation with my clients to dig deep to find the purpose for moving in the first place. Sometimes at the initial consultation we may discover moving may not be the best solution to a problem. If you have a need or desire to move then we will make a list of wants and needs. Finding a home on the internet is easy, discovering what home will best suite your needs is not as easy. Every client and home sale or purchase is different and really we cannot fit every situation into a small nicely packaged box. With 9 years and over 350 home sales closed in my career what we learn is every situation is different and it is the cumulative experiences of the past that help make your real estate transaction move smoothly.

Marketing is key for home sellers and that is where my experience comes into play. For buyers I have a critical eye when looking at homes and I always have an opinion good or bad about a home. You see my job as a real estate consultant is not to just open the door but to really help you in the decision process.
